Villa Fürstenruhe

The late-classicistic Villa Fürstenruhe was built in 1877-78 for Privy Councilor Wilhelm Müller. In 1878, it was already owned by Wilhelm Schlotterbeck, the hotelier owner of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten (Hotel Four Seasons), who sold the hotel and the villa to Berlin hotelier Carl Schweimler in 1897. The villa was an elegant guesthouse of the hotel, and celebrities, including Crown Prince Friedrich (III) in 1883, King Albert of Saxony in 1887, and the Siamese King Chulalongkorn in 1907, stayed there.
