Electromagnetism Institute

In the middle of the 19th century, doctors began to implement the research done by the English physicist Michael Faraday electricity and electromagnetism into conventional medical treatments of rheumatism, muscular diseases, and diseases of the nervous system. In Homburg, physician Dr. Scherck founded a facility for this field in 1903. According to the address book in 1900, his practice was located at Louisenstraße 114.
