The Teehäuschen (Little Tea House) in the Forstgarten (Forest Garden) was already documented in watercolors in 1785. It was probably part of the landgraves’ vegetable garden, which was covered over by the Forstgarten in 1825. The family of the landgrave still liked to use it for festivities around 1855. In 2004, the Teehäuschen was restored to its original condition after a detailed historical examination of its architecture.
